Hey!

I'm Caroline — I’m a writer, editor and content marketer with more than 10 years of professional experience creating insightful content for an international roster of brands and publications to drive readership, engagement and brand loyalty.

Currently, I'm the senior content marketing manager at digital marketing agency HawkSEM and a freelance writer in Atlanta, Georgia. Previously, I was the content marketing and social media manager at SaaS startup Gather and its online marketplace Eventup (acquired by Tripleseat), and co-editor-in-chief and social media manager for Atlanta arts publication CommonCreativ.

Before pivoting to content marketing, I was associate editor for Modern Luxury's lifestyle print magazines JezebelThe AtlantanInteriors AtlantaBrides Atlanta, and Men's Book Atlanta. Before that, I was senior editor for Little PINK Book.

I've written for The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Nylon, BuzzFeed, InStyle, VICE, Complex, PASTE Magazine, Architectural Digest, Atlanta Magazine, and elsewhere.

My clips are wide-ranging because I’ll pretty much write about anything and love learning new things, but my topic specialties include culture, art, space, wellness, fashion, and digital marketing.

I've got a penchant for Scrabble, vegetarian recipes, and amassing houseplants.

IMPERSONATION: It’s come to my attention that someone has been using my bio and clips to apply for writing jobs with an email address very similar to mine. My only email is carolinecox15@gmail.com, and I’m happy to conduct a video call to confirm my identity.
